Artbeads.com's beading blogger theme for this spring involves using a vintage or old piece of jewelry and combining it with something new. Creating pieces of jewelry with found items is near and dear to my heart. So I was happy to have a few spare moments to design!
My new items where vintage inspired. The beautiful cameo and small czech glass belflowers are both from artbeads.com The necklace is one a friend collected at an estate sale, and then gave to me.
And the most special piece of my design is the brass flowered button, with a red stone in the middle. My mom was here for Christmas this year..she gave me an array of beautiful vintage buttons that she thought I would like. I of course adore them all. And they will forever be cherished by me..as they are the last gift I will ever receive from her. Sadly, if you have read my previous posts you know why this is so.
I have many more sweet buttons she gave me...that I hope to create something beautiful and inspiring with..more to come my friends.
